Patrick delivered more than exquisite photos, he created an intimate family experience in the comfort of our home. We hadn't worked with a photographer privately in our home before, and we are so glad we did. Patrick communicated with us extensively before the shoot so we knew how to prepare and what shots to expect. Patrick provided a very calm environment around our newborn. Even while setting up shots and arranging equipment, our baby slept through half of the session. Patrick has a gentle touch with new babies and is irresistibly playful with young tots. He understands children at every age level and how to interact with them. It really shows in his work. I dreaded the idea of taking my newborn to a mall studio for portraits. I wanted the focus to be on her, not the props. Patrick provided the answer. We couldn't be more delighted with the range of images, each one intimate and natural.

Haven’t you seen my wedding photos? If you have, you don’t even need to read this, you will already know that Patrick is the best! I cannot believe that he captured so beautifully every part of our wedding day. We eloped, so it was really important for us to be able to show our families how our day went and both of our mothers cried and smiled with pretty much every picture and said “It’s just like we were there.” Not only did we get amazing pictures, he was such a joy to work with. Patrick had the perfect balance of sitting back and letting moments happen and also knowing what to tell us in order to get a great shot. Before the wedding, he was great at responding promptly to our emails and making sure he had a complete understanding of what we were looking for in our photos. After the wedding, he got our pictures to us as quickly as possible. I only wish we could do it all over again!

Not only is Patrick tremendously talented, he is also a genuinely thoughtful and caring person, and these qualities inform his work as a photographer. He came to our small condo for two hours and worked within the spatial limitations of our home with ease. Throughout the session, he asked about our preferences for image content and encouraged us to care for our 8 week old son as needed, including feeding him and swaddling him for a nap. His sensitive approach made all of us feel very comfortable, and the natural images he captured pay tribute to his unobtrusive style. We look at our photos and feel so incredibly lucky to have this special time in our lives documented so beautifully and lovingly. We know that these images have become, and will always remain, treasures for our family.

Patrick has an ease about him that makes you feel comfortable being photographed, yet he also is able to capture the moment professionally and with a creative eye. He was such a pleasant and engaging person, that he could have easily been mistaken for one of the wedding guests! And the photographs were so beautiful. Patrick was not only able to capture intimate moments but also the feelings that went along with them—joy, cheer, and love. There is a grace with his photographs—with each of his subjects portrayed in their true light. Truly, a gifted wedding photographer.

Working with Patrick was a fantastic experience for my family. Having him come to the house was so much less stressful than taking my newborn to an unfamiliar and cold studio. Max was much happier at home and the photos are so much more personal! The photos of Max are awesome, they completely capture his personality. We love that they capture a moment instead of being overly formal or staged. Max enjoyed working with Patrick, he was very warm and comfortable to be around.

Patrick Rogers was a consummate professional when he came to our home to photograph our 2 small children. He had amazing rapport with our two-year old, who is notoriously difficult to capture on film due to his short attention span. Despite this, Patrick managed to capture many amazing images. He was equally adept at managing our 4-month old. Due to the age of our children and the inherent difficulty in getting them to a photography studio, the convenience of Patrick doing the shoot in our home was essential.  The images were of the highest quality, and the backgrounds being of our home are much more warm and true-to-life than those taken in a studio. I would recommend Patrick's services to all of my friends and family.
